Commercial Air Conditioning

Commercial air conditioning systems can cool or heat small to large commercial properties and spaces in Brisbane.

This type of air conditioning system is usually installed in offices, shops, schools, cafes, and other commercial establishments to ensure students, customers, and staff stay comfortable during all seasons. Unlike residential air conditioning systems, the units used for commercial spaces recycle the same air back to maintain a room's temperature. They are also built larger and are more powerful to ensure that they can efficiently cool or heat a larger space.

There are numerous brands and models that can be used for commercial air conditioning. But, even with a huge selection, all units have different heating and cooling capacities that also vary for specific setups or environments that they will be installed in.

We understand how critical it is for your commercial air conditioning system to be operating effectively in Brisbane's hot and humid climate. We work with you and your business to ensure you're never offline, and if you are, we are here to answer your call 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

Single Split Systems

Single splits are the most affordable commercial air conditioning units and are often used by small businesses. They can provide both heating and cooling to individual rooms, including to server rooms. Although, you will need adequate space for the outdoor unit which comes with every indoor unit. The best thing about single split systems is that, if one unit breaks, the others are not affected because they operate independently. These types of commercial air conditioning units are also very energy-efficient.

Multi-Split Systems

The multi-split air conditioning system works just like single splits but specific models can connect up to nine indoor units to the one outdoor unit. This works well for commercial buildings with little to no outdoor space. The good thing about multi-splits is that its outdoor unit is not limited to one type of indoor unit. However, the installation of multi-splits is complex and requires more pipework. This means that they are more costly upfront than single split systems.

VRF or VRV Systems

Variable refrigerant flow (VRF) or variable refrigerant volume (VRV) is the best solution for medium to large spaces including hotels, bigger offices, and mixed-use buildings. These systems are extremely efficient, reliable, easy to control, and capable of meeting larger buildings' complete heating and cooling requirements. This system can simultaneously heat a room while cooling another. They also recycle and recover waste heat from around the building and use it to heat other rooms and hot water.

Installation, repairs, and maintenance of these commercial air conditioning systems are more complex than residential systems. The team that will handle these kinds of projects should be equipped with broad experience and knowledge to get these complex installations right.

That's why we, at Quality Air Conditioning have a team of licensed professionals with extensive training in the installation, repair, and maintenance of large scale VRF and VRV commercial air conditioning systems.
